I have been commissioned to paint a landscape piece, based on a photo taken by the commissioner himself. It began as a mixed media piece however took an oil paint turn when the effects seemed to better suit the atmosphere of the image I was working from. The canvas itself is beautifully made and so lovely to work from!

It is coming together, finally. Maybe a few more sessions and it will be ready to show its owner.
